I origially intended to publish this episode back in February in time for Leap Day. But it turned out to be one of those stories that just didn’t come together to my satisfaction the first time around. Or the second.
The idea was a simple one. What if people born on February 29th were bestowed with some magical gift? What if on that one day, at the hour of their birth, they could, under the right circumstances, leap ahead in time 4 years? The only problem I had was how to make that into a story. My first attempt just didn’t cut it. So, I put it aside and worked on other tales.
I decided to give it another try recently and hammered out an ending I was really happy with. Sometimes I think I know how a story is going to end, but the story has other ideas… I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing and recording it.
